Malysa Stratton Louk is a full-time freelance writer, journalist and photographer. She also works as a contracted copywriter and works with private clients on different projects.
Malysa Stratton Louk has previous experience writing employee manuals, mental health evaluations and assessments, legal reports and many other documents. As a copywriter, she has experience in a wide range of category topics including product descriptions, law, marketing, insurance, automobile, finances, medical and other various fields. She has written several food related articles and is the Tacoma Sustainable Foods Examiner, as well as the Tacoma Natural Family Living Examiner and Tacoma Pet Rescue Examiner.
Malysa Stratton Louk has a wide educational background as well. Her main interests in food, writing, mental health, and natural living have led to an educational background in creative writing (including fiction writing and screenwriting), journalism, photography, psychology, sociology, herbology and natural health, as well as some other miscellaneous areas.
Life experiences have also given her a diverse background in many other areas. Malysa Stratton Louk has extensive experience working with and teaching young children in Early Childhood Education programs as well as in Medicaid Treatment behavior modification programs for children with mild to severe behavior problems due to disability, abuse and neglect.
Working closely with psychiatrists, psychologists and other mental health professionals, she has several years experience evaluating child behavior, preparing evaluations, and creating and implementing treatment plans for behavior modification in the school and home setting.
Malysa Stratton Louk has also worked closely with child protective services social workers in supervising visitations and working with families towards reunification. Her current work includes several ongoing psychology and mental health related projects, partnering with a private client who has more than 25 years experience in the field.
As a full-time freelance writer, journalist and photographer, Malysa Stratton Louk continues to study and write about a broad range of topics and is continuously looking for ways to expand her knowledge and experience.
